Jersey shore enough!!

Welcome to the modern circus where the only purpose of the circus animals is getting laid.
The MTV circus known as "Jersey shore" is a truer-than-life look at the real assholes that find their way to the Jersey shore each and every year.
If you haven’t been privy to the migration and mating rituals of a thoroughbred guido, I can't tell you you're missing much, but turn on MTV Thursdays at 10 p.m. and you'll understand why it sucks to be at the Jersey shore from May to October.
Guidos are not a rare bred in any sense or definition.
Guidos are young males and females who are part of an Italian subculture punctuated by wife-beater T-shirt wearing guys who pump their fists into the air to express their approval, disapproval, disdain or jubilation with any current series of events that are relevant in their lives.
The female guido is recognized immediately by her annoying voice, over-the-top hair style and massive accessorizing, referred to in normal cultures as wearing jewelry.
All guidos possess a propped up ego, self-indulgence, added to a healthy supply of hair gel, big earring and lip gloss  --  and that’s just the needs of the guys.
MTVs latest attempt at reality TV is the show Jersey Shore , which  treats viewers to the mating rituals and everyday activities of  eight hand-selected guidos who are forced to live, breathe, work and play together at a rental home on the boardwalk at Seaside Heights.
The show started out with one guido male declaring his unabashed pride for being a guido.
"I was born and raised a guido," he proudly says before he starts packing up what looks like a case of hair gel tubes.
Self-centered and attention-demanding Nicole (aka Snookie) is the Fatal Instinct chick of the show. The first night she tossed off her tank top and jumped in the hot tub in her bra and thong only to reveal that girl is nowhere near as hot as she thinks she is. Yuck!! But when she woke up in the morning and started puking before heading off to their first day on the job at a local T-shirt and souvenir shop on the broadwalk, her fellow guidos abandon her as she is face down in the toilet.
Snookie threw a temper tantrum towards the end of the first episode because nobody was giving her the attention she so desperately needed. Go figure!
At the outset of the show, Snookie declared, "My ultimate dream is to find a hot, juiced guido in Jersey and live out my life."
I guess, you gotta follow that dream, wherever that dream may be.
The show is exactly what kids are all about today  --  eating, sleeping, hooking up, repeat.
The saddest part of Jersey Shore is that it is so dead on in its depiction of today's youth these eight guidos truly are just caricatures of their own pathetic existences.
It was really hilarious to watch the guido girls get jealous because the guido boys were doing what guido boys do when it comes to any girl(s) jumping into a hot tub naked.
Boys will be boys, but guidos will always be guidos.
Let's get some perspective here.
The guidos of Jersey Shore are no different than the guidos who have been flocking to the Jersey shore since the 1950s.
Guidos from South Philly have been migrating to areas from Long Beach Island to Wildwood in their vain attempt to make sure the world knew just how special they really are when placed side-by-side with non-guidos.
Guidos from Staten Island have made life on the Jersey shore from Seaside Heights to Sandy Hook their own summertime playground. Just ask the mayor of Belmar who has said how much he appreciates all the guidos do for his resort town during those hot summer months.
Burger Bits were the Trenton version of guidos offered up on the menu in Seaside and LBI oh so many years ago. Burger Bits were guidos who came under the Burger Bit moniker because they almost always came from the Chambersburg section of Trenton, better known as The Burg. They were a gentle mix of South Philly and Staten Island guidos all rolled into one great big mess.
Believe guidos are not a new aberration at the Jersey shore. In fact, guidos have been flocking to the Jersey shore for so long they may be entitled to a local moniker by default. (But don’t tell that to the people at bennygohome.com ).
Guidos have been pumping their fists at the Jersey shore for years. Why anybody would be offended by the fact that one of the most pathetic stations on television today has created a pathetic excuse to reveal the excesses and obsessions of today’s guidos in a pathetic television show, is beyond me.
Seaside was a great place to roam when the Chatterbox was a place to stop, but like crabgrass in July the guidos have taken over the place. And no amount of weeding is going to stop their advance.

I'm thinking the movie "Escape From New York" may have the potential solution -- put up a wall along the borders of the five boroughs... but alas the South Philly guidos and Burger Bits would sit roam free. Thus our dilemma.

guidos are the scum of the earth. as a teenager living on the jersey shore, the new mtv show is a disgrace to the real jersey shore's way of life. the show should really be about the local people like me and my friends who spend all of our time there at the beach and on the boardwalk. Why? Because WE live there, and that is their life. SO STUPID. Guidos and everything they stand for just make me sick to my stomach.

"Burger Bits" .... that was a brand of dog food back in the early 60's ... I think.

There is a "Hamburger Helper" type product also known as burger bits ... but I think the original was for fido and spot.
